The problem of life time of concrete structural represent matter which still need furthermore research. Existing formula still show wide scatter and the effect of repeated load to assumed not yet satisfactored. In addition only few articles on journals has explored the subject. This research aimed to evaluate and compare the methods of calculating the maximum crack width between EC 2 and ACI 318-02 codes. The research to be done to reinforced concrete plates. The fracture mechanics method, the model mathematic method, and the experiment result used to analyse maximum crack width (wmax). The fracture mechanics method from Carpinteri used to analyse the initial crack depth and the fatigue crack growth rate on structural beam of reinforced concrete. To analyse the fatigue crack growth rate is used to Paris formula. The result showed that at 10 Hz load frequency, steel stress ratio, reinforcement ratio and repeated load do affect the maximum crack width until the bond fatigue limit state by three linear model includes : (i) w = wo, (ii) w = A.e B.fs / fy . ( N – C.fs / fy – D ) + wo , and (iii) w = wf = (E.fs / fy + F). wo , where wo is the initial crack width and A, B, C, D, E, and F are dimensionless coefficients that depend on the reinforcement ratio.en_US
