A numerical model wave induced current known as longshore current was generated by means of finite different explicit scheme approximation. The numerical model was then derived by means of hydrodynamic equation discretization. The forward and central different were applied to time and space derivation, respectively. Meanwhile, analytical model was derived by means of Longuet-Higgins analytical model. Variations of incident wave from 20o-70o were implemented for both models. The numerical model was validated by means of Longuet-Higgins analytical model (1970). The result of simulated wave induced current model indicated that maximum velocity is approximately consistent to Longuet-Higgins analytical model with the highest and least differences of 3.4 % and 1.4 % or mean differences of 1.9 % for the six incident wave scenarios.en_US
