dc.description.abstractABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the effect of job rotation and compensation to the employee performance of the Secretariat of the Regional Government of Surakarta City employees, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study examined the relationship between the study variables by using indicators of competence and work experience for the variable job rotation , an indicator of financial compensation and non-financial compensation for variable compensation, satisfaction indicators of intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction for Job Satisfaction variable, an indicator of work performance, responsibility and cooperation to Employee Performance variables. The data was collected through questionnaires to 127 respondents, and then analyzed by regression analysis, analysis of intervening variables and hypothesis testing through the F-test, t test and coefficient of determination. The results indicate a positive effect of job rotation and compensation as partial to the job satisfaction and a positive effect of job rotation and compensation to the performance of employees with job satisfaction as an intervening variable.en_US
