Mahkota dewa (Phaleria papuana) fruits consists of chemicals that are able to increase lymphocytes proliferation. The objective of this study was to show the influence of Mahkota dewa's fruits extract in spleen lymphocytes proliferation of BALB/C mice. An experimental study with the post-test only control group design was carried out on experiment animal BALB/C mice, consisted of 25 male mice which devided into 5 groups. K was control group without treatment with mahkota dewa extract, whereas P1 was group treated with mahkota dewa extract 0,2 ml/day (± 35 ìg extract). P2 was group given mahkota dewa extract 0,4 ml/day (± 70 ìg extract), P3 was group given mahkota dewa extract 0,8 ml/day (± 140 ìg extract), and P4 was group given mahkota dewa extract 1,5 ml/day (± 280 ìg extract). Lymphocytes from the spleen of all mice were isolated after 2 weeks treating. Lymphoblasts were counted in every 200 cells. There were significant differences in lymphoblasts count between K and P1 (p=0,009), K and P2 (p=0,028), P1 and P2 (p=0,009), P1 and P3 (p=0,009), P1 and P4 (p=0,009), P2 and P3 (p=0,012), P2 and P4 (p=0,028). And there were no significant differences in lymphoblasts count between K and P3 (p=0,917), K and P4 (p=0,675), P3 and P4 (p=0,917). On the giving of mahkota dewa's fruits extract there were significant increase of lymphocyte proliferations on BALB/C mice on P1 and P2 groups. But there were not on P3 and P4 ones.en_US
