The research aims at exposing the sustainability of women’s participation in the development of the Tumiyang village after the implementation of the P2MPD program. The data-collecting methods include observation, interview and documents. The data-analyzing method is descriptive qualitative. The result of the research indicates that the aftermath of the P2MPD program implementation, the women’s participation in the Tumiyang Village was substantially limited in the PKK and Dasawisma organization. The village administration and BPD did not try to involve women in formulating the village policy, except those who were active in the organization. Other women were involved in the phase of program implementation. Despite their capability in each phase of the program, they were not given the opportunity to put the capability into reality. The participation of women in the program was merely due to the explicit statement requiring women’s involvement in the program and the explicit financial allotment of wage for women to increase family income.en_US
