    Pengaruh Metode Total Physical Response terhadap Kemampuan Menyimak dan Penguasaan Kosakata Bahasa Inggris

    Abstract
    The research is aimed to find out the contribution of Total Physical Response toward early child ability in listening and early child ability in mastering English vocabulary.Total Physical Response(TPR)is a method of language learning based on commands and physical movement. The method is appropriate to learn foreign language of all ages, especially for young learners since the method suits with their nature of playing. The research takes placeat TK Intan Permata Makamhaji Sukoharjo. Sample of the research is the pupils from group A with average 4-5 years old. This group divided into two clusters, control and experiment. The results of the research show that the escalation in pupils ability in listening from to 68,33and improving also at pupil ability in mastering English vocabulary from 127.53 to 306.87.so it can be conclude that the TPR method is suitable to employ at early child language acquisition. Besides the method alsoable to stimulate others language skills such as reading, speaking and writing
