    Relations With Sleep Disorders Fatigue In The System Shift Work To Employees of Gas Station 24 Hours In By Pass Street, Padang

    Abstract
    Indonesia as a developing country currently has some big industry, both in the field of goods or services. The increase in services in an industry / company currently using the system of shift work. The activities of life at the time are now demanding someone to work until night time to yield optimal performance. This led to the providers of goods and services still remains open until late at night even open 24 hours, such as hospitals, fire department, call center, minimarket, and a gas station. In the case of gas station fuel provider, is open 24 hours because there are still many consumers who need the gasoline in the middle of the night for vehicles in its transport. The process of shift work is applied to gas station now is to divide it into three working shifts. Shift I started at 07:00 am – 2:30 pm, shift II 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm, and shift III at 9:30 pm - 07:00 am. Gas station operators work system done passes every 3 days for each shift. This of course impact on the operators who maintain gas station against ill health such as fatigue and sleep disturbances. So do some research to find out the level of feelings of fatigue, weakening the working activities, physical fatigue and the influence of sleep disorders with fatigue on a shift system of work experienced by operators of the 24-hour gas station on By Pass street, Padang. The research was carried out using a method of observational and descriptive analysis by division of a questionnaire that includes the characteristics of the object of research, feeling fatigue, weakening labor activity, and physical fatigue. The questionnaires handed out by as much as 30 pieces to the operator randomly at several gas stations on the road By Pass, the city of Padang. This research was conducted in february 2016 and the data processing is done using Microsoft Excel and SPSS software. The results of this study indicate, feeling fatigue work at gas station operators more often felt on the night shift as feeling anxious toward something (20%), intellect (16.67%) is decreasing, tired of the whole body (16.67%) so as to make a limited social life, less well to family life, sleep disorders, and a lot of free time wasted. The perceived weakening of the working activities of the operators of the gas station include 33.33% operators feel sleepy, eyes felt heavy, feel like lying down and the high frequency of yawning, and the other feeling like a heavy feeling in the head, tired of the whole body, legs feel heavy, stiff and awkward in movement as well as unbalanced in the stands. Physical fatigue is caused by the presence of excitation occurs continuously to such workers on night shift operator often feel lightheaded / dizzy as well as eyelids feel heavy (33,33%). Shift work sleep disorders affect gas station operator is the night shift because nap is not as effective as sleep at night, a lot of disruption and it usually takes a break to make up for the lack of sleep during the night work. So, there is a big relation between sleep disorders with fatigue on a shift system at the gas station operators work 24 hours on the By Pass street, Padang.
