The purpose of this study was to examine the perception presented career options in the field of
taxation by creating motivation as an intervening variable in accounting student at the University of
Nusantara PGRI Kediri. This study is a quantitative approach survey methods, data collection techniques
done with interviews, questionnaires and observations. Data analysis techniques in this study using Partial
Least Square (PLS). Findings from this study indicate that the perceptions and motivations of students about
careers in the field of taxation shows that their influence. Similarly, perceptions of career options in the field
of taxation through motivation also has an influence and motivation to become a liaison variables.
