Abstract

Realistic Mathematics Education (Realistic Mathematic Education) is an approach to learning math should always use everyday problems. Formulation of the problem: How to use the approach Realistic Mathematic Education class IV MI Muhammadiyah Magelang City of Hope Integrated?, 2) How does an understanding of the mathematical concepts of fourth grade students Integrated Hope City MI Muhammadiyah Magelang? 3) Is there any effect of the use of Mathematic Education Realistic approach to the understanding of math concepts class IV MI Muhammadiyah Magelang City of Hope Integrated?. data analysis techniques using paired t test is a test sampling of statistics with the same group but uses a different time ie before (pretest) and after (posttest) .Kesimpulan: 1) The use of approaches Realistic Mathematic Education in both categories, it can be proven from 29 respondents Average -rata who answered agreed to more than 50%. 2) understanding of the mathematical concepts of students has increased, namely before and after the implementation of the approach Realistic Mathematic Education. 3) There is an effect of use Realistic Mathematic Education approach to the understanding of math concepts students Integrated Hope MI Muhammadiyah Magelang City.
