Relationship Social Support Health Cadre and The Paramedic abaout Obedience Taking Anti Filariasis Drugs in Jeruk Sari Vilage Tirto Districts Pekalongan Regency
Abstract
Filariasis is a disease caused by filarial worm infection transmitted by mosquitoes, can cause chronic disability. Filariasis patients in Central Java total 412 patients and based on the data in Pekalongan Regency total 52 patients, in comunnity health centers Tirto there were 15 patients and 7 patients are already experienced disability and 2 patients had died. Purpose this research to know relationship social support from health cadre and paramedic about obedience taking filariasis drugs in JeruksariVilageTirto District Pekalongan Regency by research design is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach, a sample of 373 respondents and systematic random sampling technique. Results of univariate analysis to support health cadre less 179 respondents 48%, support health workers and less than 176 47.2% compliance in the treatment of non-compliant 202 respondents 54.2%. Bivariate analysis using Chi Squere in the know there is a significant relationship between social support variabel from health cadre about obedience taking filariasis drugs p value = 0,002, support variabel health worker to compliance taking drugs there is a relationship p value = <0.001. Researchers recommend to improve the performance of cadres role in providing an understanding about the compliance of taking medicine Anti Filariasis
