    Abstract
Outstanding boarding school model or full day school has become a must for Muhammadiyah and it becomes the best alternative for general public to form the children’s personality in the middle of the globalization culture so that there are more outstanding schools emerging in big and small cities. There are three cases that want to be achieved from the school models, that is, (1) the students’ bravery to express themselves and their opinions, (2) motivation to exercise Islamic teachings more strongly, (3) curiosity to understand and overcome problems immediately. If Muhammadiyah wants to establish an excellent school, it needs to formulate its philosophical education basis framed with the purpose of national education and the concept of science in Islam.
