DINAMIKA PEMBARUAN MUHAMMADIYAH: TINJAUAN PEMIKIRAN KEAGAMAAN

Abstract

Muhammadiyah known as the reform movement and modernists or reformers within the Islamic movement paradigm. Reform movement believed in the doctrine of perfection and comprehensiveness, but its actualization is not fixated on the structure or format of the legal- formal less separation, but it more emphasizes on actualization of the values of Islam in an objective life. Islam in modernists paradigm or reformists is shown as a religion that is able to confront and give answers to the times without losing the foundation and basic principles of his teachings. Among the areas of work on the Muhammadiyah reformstands out is education, socio-economic, and religious thought.
