Abstract

This research approaches the issues of (BSE) paperless textbook from Elementary School, Junior High School and Senior High School in Indonesia. It’s very important for publisher to manage the changing process from the potential benefits from paperless technologies. Based on this case study, the subject of this research developing the role of textbooks in digital form. Textbook publishers in Indonesia are still not ready to meet the need for textbooks in digital form to the public because they do not benefit from the purchase of copyrights by the government. The most prominent is the mismatch between the perceptions and opinions from the government and the publishers about textbooks procurement to primary and secondary school levels. This paper analyzes Indonesian commerce textbook by Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) and only in five phases from all phases. The phases are Preliminary Investigation Phase, Problem Analysis Phase, Requirements Analysis Phase, Logical Design and Decision Analysis Phase. This analyzes background chosen for capability solve problem for paperless textbook distribution.
