    Abstract
The study aims to describe an assessment performance based on the spoke presentation of the class-x students’ textbook of the 2013 Curriculum. The method employed a descriptive-explanative. The data were the assessment technique and the assessment rubric of the spoken presentation. The analyzed document was the class-x students’ textbook of the 2013 curriculum. The analysis technique employed a content analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the four skills of the textbook are assessed with the performance although there are some things irrelevant to it. These include 1) the assessment instrument uncompleted with the assessment rubric; 2) the assessed aspect and learning outcome indicator not stated explicitly; 3) the in pairs or individually restricted performance’ practice that take a long period of time for completing each skill.
