Kualitas Air Tanah pada Satuan Lahan Permukiman untuk Konsumsi Domestik di Kabupaten Klaten

Abstract

Groundwater is a na tural resource that must be man aged and preserved well. Monitoring of groundwa ter quality essential as vulnerable grou nd water pollution, so the quality is declining, which in turn can not be used f or domestic an d non-domestic purposes. The aim of this study is to an alyze the quality of groundwater in the settlements land un it of district Klaten , Central Ja va. The research metho d that used is survey. The analysis of the results based on the quality stan da rd of drink ing water in accordance PERMENKES No. 416 /MENKES/KES/IX/1990. The data which collected are land form, shallow groundwater data, groundwa ter pressure, and springs. The results were obtained: (1) the landforms in Klaten are divided into fou r units, namely slop es and volcanic peaks, volcan ic foot, volcan ic fluvial plains, and a structura l, (2) the qua lity of shallow groundwa ter in Klaten is und er the stan dard that is set by PERMENKES No. 41 6/MENKES/KES/IX/1990 or it can,t be consumed
