The purpose of this study are (1) to reactulization theater tradition in the
dynamics of modernization, (2) describe the contribution of theater in
multicultural education. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Data
source is a document, place and tradition of theatrical events, and sources
(informants) both expert/critic theater tradition and watcher’s theate. The data
collection was done by using literature, observation, and in-depth interviews. The
data analysis was done by using content analysis and interactive methods.
Research results and the discussion are: (1) (a) cultivating reactualizationed theater
traditions in tune with the signs of the times, (b) management should be professional
theatrical tradition with modern management principles, (c) the need to bring in
staging the stars famous guests in order to become a magnetic power for spectators;
(d ) the necessary staging a synergistic cooperation between the manager/worker
theatrical tradition with human and relevant institutions, (2) Contributions theater
tradition as a medium of socialization and multicultural education are: (a) Theatre
tradition can be a synthesis of ideas and media community a taste of traditional
(old ) with the idea and taste of modern society because it is elastic, relaxed
atmosphere of, for shared and for all, and (b) with a mixture of Indonesian and
local languages in dialogue the actors then socialization and multicultural education
will take place more easily, and (c) Teaching literature with extra-curricular activities
in the “Studio Literature “ and the theatrical tradition is the value of multicultural
socialization media for students and young people generally.

Research objectives are: (1) to determine the realization of faculty careers
related to structural position Private Teachers ‘Training College in Semarang,
(2) to determine the actual functional promotion of academic faculty Private Teachers’
Training College in Semarang, and (3) what factors are involved determine the
progress in implementation of the decision-making coaching career faculty.
Research method is descriptive qualitative with a view mendatakan events and
happenings of interest to researchers in the natural environment as well as through
an ethnographic approach. The respondents were board of trustees, Rector,
professor of civil servants, lecturers and remain the foundation as well as the
researchers themselves. Techniques of collecting data through observation,
interviews, documentation, and discussion. Data analysis techniques by reducing
the data then presenting the data and then drawing conclusions, are used to test
the validity of data credibility, transferability, and dependability.
The results are related to career building structural positions lecturers generally
smooth, but there needs to be changes in the bureaucracy of the board of trustees
that the head of the university (Rector) was given the authority to regulate or sound
coming from under recognized. Career coaching-related faculty position there is a
difference between functional academic lecturers and professors remain the
foundation of civil servants, the condition is caused by the lack of a standardized
staffing rules, the lack of a policy be motivating lecturers to be promoted, the weak
lecturer in management and infrastructure facilities was inadequate institutions.

The objectives of this research was to determine (1) planning of guidance
and counseling activity for students character building. (2) The implementation
of guidance and counseling activity for student’s character building. (3)
Evaluation of guidance and counseling activity for student’s character building.This
is qualitative research that conducted in SD N 2 Rowosari, Kendal. Data collection
techniques used in this research is the observation, interview and documentation.
Data analysis techniques in this research using analytical models. Validity of the data
in this research includes credibility, transferability, dependability, and
conformability.The results of this research (1) In the guidance and counseling activity
at SDN 2 Rowosari also begins with planning activities that performed by the principal,
classroom teachers and subject teachers. In the planning activity discusses the purpose
of counseling activities that are the development of the students through the planting
of 18 character values through four areas: personal, social, learning and career. (2)
The implementation of guidance and counseling activity to the formation of student’s
character at SDN 2 Rowosari refers to the self-development program. It si for formation
of student’s character integrated into subjects by planting of 18 character values are
given to the students pasted on the material that tailored to the competencies formulation
of guidance activity covering 4 areas: personal, social, learning and career. (3)
Evaluation in counseling activities consists of two types of assessment that is the
assessment process and assessment results. Evaluation exercise counseling can be
done in the form of non-test is through observation or monitoring of student
characteristics. The successful of the quality advancement of the counseling activities
is assessed from the reflection of 18 character values that shown by the students.

The problem in this study is the low ability students MAN Suruh have in
making a conclusion from the information that is being heard. Associated
with the need for innovation in teaching and learning processes them by using the
method of inquiry. This study is an action research with qualitative approach and
descriptive methods. Implementation of the study consisted of two cycles and
every two cycles of learning activities. Each cycle includes four stages: planning,
implementation, observation and reflection. Retrieval of data using test techniques,
observation and documentation. Tool makers essay test item data, observation
sheets, and a list of values. The results showed improvement by comparing its
CMC (criterian minimum completeness) value or score 80. This is reflected in the
first cycle, because in this cycle for the first activity test results to make a conclusion
that the value or score 80 or more only 54.55 %, the second activity increased to
54.55 %. While the average student learning outcomes of the two activities in the
first cycle of 54.55 %. In the second cycle for the first activity that reaches CMC is
72 %, while the second activity that reached the CMC is 90 %. It can be concluded
that the application of the inquiry method of learning makes us hear the conclusion
of invormasi can improve the ability to make inferences from the information that is
being heard. For the liveliness, the first cycle of learning first 57 %, second 84 %
of learning, first learning cycle II 90 %, and 100 % active learner II. In other words
the end result, 90 % of 33 students can make inferences and 100 % of active
students. Related to that, this action research proved.
