This research aims to identify the relationship between self concept and parent nurturing
pattern and santri (Islamic boarding school students) conformity. Self concept is a
picture owned by somebody about him or herself which formed by experiences gained
from individual interaction to the environment. Whereas the parent nurturing pattern is
the way parent used in treating, communicating, making discipline, monitoring and
supporting children. Whereas conformity is called as a change in behavior or belief as a
result of social pressure either imaginary or real. The sample of this research is 170
santris of Modern Boarding School of Imam Syuhodo Muhammadiyah Blimbing Branch
Sukoharjo. The data collection technique is conducted by using questionnaire consisting
of three scales, they are self concept, parent nurture pattern and conformity scale.
From the data analysis, it indicates that there is significant relationship between self
concept and parent nurturing pattern altogether to the santri conformity.

The study examined the relation between self esteem and school discipline with bullying
on adolescent. The participants included 81 IX’s grade students of MTsN Tinawas Nogosari.
Questionnaires were used to collect the data and anova one way method and regression
were used in this study to analyze and find the dynamic of all variables. Based on the
calculation, correlation coeffisien was R=0,58; Fregression=25,119; p=0,0000(p>0,01). This
measure showed that there was a significant relation between self esteem and school discipline
with bullying on adolescent. Self esteem and school discipline could be a predictor
for bullying. Bullying on adolescent at school was dominated by male students. Male subjects
who were involved in bullying were 30,30% and female subjects were 24,97%. Bullying
at school was appropriate with the categories, which is 34,6% verbal bullying, 24,69%
cyber bullying, 22,2% social bullying, and 18,5% physical bullying.

The aimsof this study are (1) to describe the Rendra’s drama techniques, (2) to implement
Rendra’s drama acting techniques in drama learning for students of MAN
Karanganyar class XI. This is a case study (embedded case study). The data collection
technique used is observation and documentatatipon. Data validity used is triangulation
of data and theory. Data analysis technique used is descriptive interpretative. The
research results indicate that acting and drama playing technique from Renda can be
well implemented in drama teaching and learning process in the classroom by adapting
less technical direction in accordance with the conditions of the class.

In general, the purpose of this study is to describe the illocutionary speech act of chaplain
using bilingual approach. This is a qualitative research. The data are in the form of
speech collected from recordings of cleric K.H. Anwar Zahid from Bojonegoro, East Java as the informant. Data collection techniques used are observation and recording.
Data analysis used is equivalent intralingual method aith comparative technique. The
results of this study indicate as follows: (a) Assertive modes are expressed in the form of
Javanese-Arabic and Arabic-Indonesian; complain mode are in Arabic-Javanese and
Arabic-Indonesian); (b) Directive modes are in Arabic-Javanese and Arabic-Indonesian)
and advising modes are in Arabic-Javanese and Arabic-Indonesian); (c) there are
commissive mode of offers in Arabic-Javanese and Javanese-Indonesian), (d) Expressive
congratulation mode in Arabic-Javanese); (e) Declaration form naming mode is in
Javanese-Arabic and Arabic-Indonesian. Speech acts used in the teachings are direct
speech act, such as to govern, inform or do something directly. The direct speech is used
in the form of questions in Arabic-Javaneseand commands Arabic-Javanese and Indonesian-
Arabic.
