This research aim to know the attitude of high school women student in mathematics, to
identify the factory that influence the attitude of high school women student in mathematics’, and
to know the influence of the attitude of high school women student in mathematics to their choices
of life Based on the research aim above, this research use the qualitative research descriptive
method. In this research we want to find accurate information about attitude of high school women
student in mathematics and to know how the attitude of high school women student in mathematics
influence their choices of life so we use descriptive explorative method. The result of this research
are the confidence high school women student in mathematics is in medium categories, the useful
of mathematics according to high school women student is in high categories, the point of view
about mathematics is male domains according to high school women student is in high categories
(4) The perception about mathematics teachers according to high school women student is in high
categories, (5) the factors that influence the attitude of high school women student in mathematics
is : (i) Self confidence of high school women student (ii) Their ability in mathematics (iii) Knowing
useful of mathematics in their life (iv) The character of high school women student (v) Mathematic
teachers, and the attitude of high school women student in mathematics influence their choices of
life. Women student that have positive attitude in mathematics select university majors or career
that involve mathematics, but women student that have negative attitude in mathematics select
university majors or career that not involve mathematics.

This Classrom Action Research aims to know The effectiveness of “the power of two”
applications strategy for increase student activity study of IPS, and to know what this applications
strategy can increase accomplishment learn student, with detect class student response of SMP 2
kartasura. The data collecting is done with observation sheet, cycle test, inquiry, documentation
and interview. accomplishment result data learns and student activities in study is analyzed by
using descriptive comparability. The result of this research shows that accomplishment learns
student experiences enhanced. This matter visible from cycle test result data that experience average
enhanced 20,73%. before watchfulness, the classical learning completely only 39,02%, in my cycle
increases to be 70,73% and in second cycle increase again be 80,49%. For activities learns
student in course of average study experiences enhanced 18,9%, while the student activities learns
in double-groupinf show the average increase until 18,70%. Accomplishment enhanced learns
and activities learns also followed with ability enhanced psycomotoric that by student ability
enhanced in percentage.

This research is aimed at finding out the cognitive level of the state SMP teachers toward
the concept of classroom-based assessment. The sample respondents were 297 English teachers
taken from 11 cities/regencies within Riau Province. The procedure of the research was administered
by inviting them to give an opinion through a set of questionnaire containing statements on cognitive
aspects towards the concept of classroom-based assessment. This kind of data collection is known as
Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) created by Stufflebeam et.al (1971). Data analysis was
calculated in descriptive method using SPSS Version 11.5, that is, by describing the percentage, min
score as well as the standard deviation. Data calculation described that the lowest min score was
3.2949 with the standard deviation 0.63; while the highest one was 3.5539 with the standard deviation
0.53. As a result, the average min score was 3.4244 with the standard deviation 0.5866. Based on this
calculation, it could be concluded that the cognitive level of state SMP English teachers within Riau
Province towards the concept of classroom-based assessment was in ‘mediocre’ level, particularly,
on the aspects of ‘introduction’, comprehension’, ‘application’, ‘analysis’, ‘synthesis’ and ‘evaluation.’

Traditional learning method especially at courses which support the development of public
health profession policy (qualitative research method) needs learning methods improvisation so
that the learning process can be inovative and condusive (cooperative learning). To analyze the
students’ interaction ability, sharing ability, responsibility, positive dependant, self esteem, work in
groups ability, and problem solving ability by applying “cooperative learning” in developing the
ability to compose research proposal. Research and development through pre-survey, planning,
trial, validation, validation test and dessemination. The targets were the students of Public Health
Department, Medical Science Faculty, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who had taken
Research Methods (pre requisite) as many as 28 students. Cooperative Learning Model which was
done through Think Pair Share, Round Robin Brainstorming, Three Step Interview, Jigsaw, Three
Minute Review, and Send A Problem methods could create students ability to think critically, ability
to exchange information, ability to interact, ability to solve problems, ability to work in groups, and
ability to make a mutual dependancy in groups. The evaluation to the final results of learning,
individual performance, group performance, and learning method of the students was considered
good (+ 69,02%), good enough (+ 17,3%), and poor (+ 13,65%). The research proposals resulted
from this research classified into good (B) as much as 92,86% and good enough (C) as much as
7,14%. By applying Cooperative Learning, students can interact, share, be responsible, solve problems,
create self esteem, and depend on their friends positively. The proposals could be produced after
students have the ability to analyze creatively and synthesize creatively as well.
