This study wants to describe the constribution of teacher’s percetion on the implementation
of the Principal EMASLIM function, school organization climate, and teacher’ competence toward
school quality at Senior High School State Temanggung. This quantitative study used survey
method. The population was 253 teachers of that school. The data were collected by Likert scale
and documentation. Data analysis used multiple linear regressions. The results show teacher’s
percetion on the implementation of the Principal EMASLIM function is significant with probality
0,018, and the other factor is not siginificant, however, simultaniously, this linear regrassion is
very significant at the level 5% with small contribution 21,2%. It indicates that to increase school
quality component is needed simultanious support from many factors studied.

The objective of this study is to know the contribution of class visiting supervision,
teacher’s competence, and organizational climate toward teacher’s performance at State Junior
High School Gunungpati Semarang Central Java. The method used to collect the data was
questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by correlational technique, double regression by
two predicators. The result shows that there is significant contribution of class visiting supervision,
teacher’s competence, and organizational climate toward teacher’s performance. Then, it can be
suggested that to get work optimally, the school should try some efforts of increasing the teacher’s
competence, like sending in seminar, workshop, or training in innovative teaching and learning.

The problems of this study are: (1) what are the values of school management at SMK
Negeri 7 Surakarta and (2) what factors discourage or encourage the implementation of those
school management values at SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta. This research is aimed at finding out: (1)
school management values at SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta and (2) factors that discourage or encourage
the implementation of school management values at SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta. This is a qualitative
research and ethnographic design. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta. The
object of this research was school management values. The data collected in this research were
primary data from primary sources. They were school head master, teachers, staffs, and students of
SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta. The techniques of data collection used in this research were (1)
documentation, (2) observation, (3) interview, and (4) questionnaire. The technique used to
evaluate data validity was triangulation. The collected data were analyzed by using the technique
of inductive analyses. The results shows that school management of SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta is
based on the positive values including: (a) the beauty and cleanliness, (b) cooperation and
collegiality, (c) work hard, (d) professionalism, (e) qualified service, (f) quality enhancement, (g)
openness and harmony, (i) responsibility, and (j) reward for achievement. There are many barriers
in implementing those positive values such as (a) the limitation of class building, (b) teachers’
shortage, (c) the small incentive, and (d) the differences of teachers’ competence. There are many
supported factors, such as: (a) school leadership, (b) teachers’ spirit, and (c) ISO certificate.

This study wants to know the correlation between reading interest and verbal creativity
empirically at youth age. The population was The students at class VIII State MTS Susukan
Semarang. Data were gathered by test and scale method, and the analyzed by Product moment
correlation. The result shows that there is significant correlation between reading interest and
verbal creativity at youth age. The contribution of reading interest toward verbal activity is about
20.4%.
