dc.description.abstractAlat transportasi mempunyai peranan yang cukup penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Berkembangnya waktu, jumlah bis kota yang ada sekarang dirasa kurang mampu menampung jumlah penumpang yang semakin meningkat. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi adalah pegangan penumpang pada saat berdiri (Bus Handle). Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memberikan usulan rancangan handle serta lay-out interior bis Trans Jogja. Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan masukan dalam merancang handle dan interior bis sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara kepada pengguna Trans Jogja. Metode perancangan handle menggunakan konsep Axiomatic Design. Hasil penelitian, diperoleh tiga kebutuhan konsumen yaitu aman dan nyaman, keawetan/tahan lama dan efektif. Hasil uji validasi menunjukkan p-value lebih besar dari 0.05 (p > 0.05), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan antara rencana/rancangan desain bus handle yang diajukan dengan kebutuhan penumpang Trans Jogja.id_ID
