PENJELASAN PERATURAN UMUM INSTALASI LISTRIK RUMAH TINGGAL PADA SISWA SMP AL IRSYAD PASAR KLIWON SURAKARTA

Abstract

Electricity is one of the human primary needs in this modern era. Electricity gives both advantages and threats towards human being in terms of its misuse. The level of understanding by the students of SMP Al Irsyad Pasar Kliwon about electricity, its impact and the understanding about general rule of house keeping electrical installation will determine the chance for them to become the victim of electrical misuse. The methods used in this activity are guidance, demonstration, and observation. The combination of these three methods may increase the level of comprehension of electricity. The students got average scores around 53.70 for the pre test which is given before conducting this activity. It means that the level of comprehension ranges about 53.70 %. This illumination is then completed and ended with posttest using the same material as the pretest one. The result shows that the average score range 76, 96. It means that the level of comprehension raise to 43.23%. By doing this illumination, it is expected that the students understanding will increase so that the students can avoid the dangers of electrical misuse.
