dc.description.abstract | This community development aims to help entrepreneur have
understanding about focused group discussion as a method to get data
from customer. Entrepreneur who are graduated from Economic Faculty,
Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta would have got better
understanding relation to essence, benefit, and procedure on organizing
focused group discussion. This community development is conducted
through tutorial, discussion, and simulation method thus Entrepreneur
would get real experience regarding to focused group discussion .This
community developments held on December, 27, 2006 at Economic Faculty.
Seven entrepreneurship attend this forum. The beginning, participant
are asked to fill out a form consist of personal data and questioner, we
knew that just three participants have right understanding regarding
focused group discussion. The forum started simulation with topic
“obstacles which alumni faced in work –force market”. An experienced
moderator guided the discussion. Participants had enthusiasm. From the
simulation, we inferred that Economic Faculty need better understanding
requirements in work force market. The forum ended when participants
must filled out questioner regarding their understanding on focused group
discussion. We concluded that participants enhanced their knowledge
about what and how to run focused group discussion. They intend to
employ this method to get data from their customer. | en_US |
