dc.description.abstract | Hypertension in person will be major risk factors of a stroke, although
hypertension is actually something that can be controlled. The risk cause a stroke
also increasing with age. Stroke can affect the quality of life of the poor can even
endanger the life of people thus the prevention effort is a priority. The number of
hypertension incident in 2007 in the Kwadungan village reach 1,491 people (45%).
To overcome the problem of hypertension in the village, beside the drugs will be
expensive plus will aggravate the existing problem of health, people should be
introduced in herbal medicines based on the original natural of Indonesia where
material is located around the community, such as: celery, temulawak, pace and others.
Method of this Project is health counseling by teachers / lecturers with a system using
interactive audio-visual facilities and herbal treatment directly assisted with other
traditional treatments, which are guided by and under the supervision of general
practitioners. This activity was followed by 35 people in Dukuh Majan who have
hypertension and a complaint made in Melati Posyandu in Dukuh Majan, Kwadungan
village.
After this project, 28.57% of population are categorized 48.57% successful and
quite successful. On the other hand, there is a 22.86% gain value is less successful.
Education and demonstration herbal treatment is important for the public capital
hamlet in Majan to prevent and treat diseases, especially hypertension with cheap
and does not contain chemicals. Thus, it is expected to reduce the incidence of disease
in the hypertension community in Dukuh Majan, Kwadungan village particularly. | en_US |
