PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG DIABETES MELLITUS PADA PENDUDUK DESA BULAN WONOSARI KLATEN

Abstract

Achievement of knowledge about diabetes mellitus not properly done well by paramedic or health institution because of not includes infection disease. The effort to achieve knowledge about diabetes mellitus will prevent people suffer from this disease and prevent the complication caused by this disease. The society of Bulan village never was educated knowledge about diabetes mellitus from paramedic. Therefore still needed achievement knowledge about diabetes mellitus. At this beginning of this activity, participant given the questioner about basic knowledge about diabetes mellitus. Then participant given education about diabetes mellitus further including definition, symptom, examination, complication, therapeutic, prevention. And then the last question given to the participant therefore we could see the knowledge achievement from the score. The result of this activity is that paramedic and the society give a lot of attention to understand explanation about diabetes mellitus
