dc.description.abstract | Based on service capacity of reinforced concrete and the possibility of corrosion process that lead to
reinforcement deformation, cracking in reinforced concrete should be limited and only haired-cracking is allowed. This
study objective is to know the crack pattern and the type of fall due to hole-drilling and up-down loading. This study used
5 samples of T-beams with 175 mm x 325 mm dimension and 2000 mm length, 60 mm thickness, and effective width 945
mm. The test was conducted by giving non-reversal cyclic load with 100000 cycle that used Pmax = 16 kN and Pmin =
4.6 kN, and followed by static loading using axial load on the center of span until the beam was fallen. The research
result shows that the first crack was bending-crack happened at the area which had highest bending moment. The first
crack happened in the tensile side of middle span at 24.78% of maximum load. The crack in the hole happened after the
first crack in the center of span due to cyclic load as well as static load. Crack propagation or the highest rate of crack
happened at test sample BL-01 when loaded by 16 kN load, and its crack length was 24.6 cm. | en_US |
