PELATIHAN PENULISAN ILMIAH POPULER BAGI GURU SMA/ SMK MUHAMMADIYAH SE-SURAKARTA

Abstract

The aimed of this training is providing the participants with skills of writing popular scientific writings in several aspects. It is bestowed to Senior High School teacher Muhammadiyah in Surakarta as the target. The methods applied in this training, such as: lecture, discussion, practice, group dynamics and tutorial. The training is ongoing in one day. There are 7 participants joining this program. Evaluation is done in product, process and effectiveness. According to participant’s writing and practice productions, it can be said that participants have joined this training well. It is known by the circumstance analysis product. Participants at 60% are able to express interesting things in their circumstance to be ideas in words. Six in argumentative essay are collected. There are still many mistakes related to spelling and good writing process method. During the training, participants are enthusiastic, energetic, active, and responsive.
