dc.description.abstractGIS teaching materials and the Far Senses, often becomes an issue and being discussed in the forum MGMP Geography high scool Sragen Regency. Associated with the constraints that are often encountered, one of which is material and GIS Remote Senses at high school curriculum is teaching the class XII refers to the explanation of theoretical concepts. Though basically understanding of GIS and Remote Senses tend to practice more directly against the introduction of the software and how software Arc view (GIS) or introduction of image interpretation, air photo and others on the Far Senses. Facilities (media) the learning needs of GIS and Remote Senses, still less between one school with another school, this condition is one of the problems inhibiting the learning process both teachers and high school students to the understanding of the material. Learning conditions had become one of the problems and obstacles in the face by teachers and students to the understanding and development of GIS disciplines and the Far Senses. In addition students are expected to be able to understand in theory but is also expected to apply in practice, because of the importance of GIS and Remote Penindraan at present. GIS is basically a software Arc View software as desktop Geographic Information System. With this software users can perform the process - the process of visualization, to explore, create queries and get answers, and analyze the data and its attributes. So also in the Far Senses, which is used as an analytical tool is the direct contact on the area being studied. Conditions and technological development of world demand for GIS and Remote Senses role in supporting the manufacture of various types of map applications, image identification, as well as aerial photography and other. It is expected that in the process of material development can enhance the understanding of students and teachers which focused on quality and quality of media use GIS and Remote Senses, with training and practical work directly. Basically, the role of GIS and Remote Senses is needed in today's modern lifeen_US
