dc.description.abstractNeem (Azadirachta indica) is a multi function tree. Neem was estimated as antifungal for inhibiting Trichophyton mentagrophytes growth. The aims of the research were to know the role of neem seed as antifungal to T. mentagrophytes growth and to know the consentration of neem seed that effective as antifungal to T. mentagrophytes growth. It was an exsperiment research, the antifungal test method was agar block. Based on the result of this research, it was known that the diameter of the micelium of T. mentagrophytes growth was as follow : the neem seed liquid with 0% consentration (control) = micelium diameter 62,25 mm, 30% = 22,50 mm, 40% = 18,25 mm, 50% = 16,50 mm, 60%= 14,75 mm, 70% = 14,25 mm,and 80% = 11,00 mm. Based on anova test result, it could be concluded there was a significant influence between the added neem seed to T. mentagrophytes growth. So the neem seed potential to be used for skin disease as traditional medicine.en_US
