dc.description.abstractThe used of chemical insecticides causing resistance and contaminate of environment. The used of insecticides be coming from plant relative easy to reveled in nature so that do not contaminate the environment and so save for human and animals. Rambutan leaf (Nephelium lappaceum L.) contain of compounds of tanin and saponin, it be used for larvicide’s. The aim of the research was to know the effectiveness of etanol extract of rambutan leaf (Nephelium lappaceum L.) to kill of Aedes aegypti larvae instars III. This research is experimental whit posttest only control group design. That the subject divided into two groups, the group is treatment and control. The result of the research got at concentration 0,025% got the mean death of aqual to 0,25 tail (1%), concentration 0,05% equal to 0,1 tail (4%), concentration 0,1% equal to 7,75 tail (31%), concentration 0,2% equal to 21,75 tail (87%), concentration 0,4% equal to 23 tail (92%), and concentration 0,8% equal to 24,75 tail (99%). The result of anava test conclude the ethanol extract of rambutan leaf (Nephelium lappaceum L.) effective to kill of Aedes aegypti larvae instars III. Value LC95 of equal to 0,37143% whit the boundary under 0,27956% and boundary up to 0,58801%. The result of MCA test whit LSD method got there are a significant between concentration ethanol extract of rambutan leaf (Nephelium lappaceum L.) is mean death of Aedes aegypti larvae at concentration 0,1% and 0,8%.en_US
