EKSISTENSI MUHAMMADIYAH DAN NAHDHATUL ULAMA DI DESA PLOMPONG, SIRAMPOG, BREBES, JAWA TENGAH (STUDI PERBANDINGAN)

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is known as a modern organization and Nahdhatul Ulama (NU) is labeled as traditional, but both are members of Islamic organizations and charities that have a substantial business in Indonesia, whose presence is a historical necessity. The birth and development of the two organizations in the arena of national and state has contributed significantly to the nation of Indonesia. Institutionally, both have an organizational structure in almost all parts of Indonesia, from the center to the branch. Field concern is also not much different, namely religious, social and education and health. Therefore They do not rule out the potential conflict, but also can work together to do something useful for the people and nation. In Plompong Village, both organizations are well developed, but both have differences and similarities.
