dc.description.abstract | Under-five children is a group which susceptible of health and nutrition problems. This period is a vital
and critical period. Under-five-year-old children must get nutrition intake according to their requirement.
Nutritional status influences the immunity status, and vice versa. The aim of this research was to
understand and analyze the relation between nutritional status and immunity status of under-five children.
This research was observational study using cross sectional approach. Nutritional status data
were obtained through Z-score by measuring weight and height. Immunity status data were gained
through calculation of rate of lymphocytes by diff count method in 35 respondents. The analysis method
was Pearson-product moment. Nutritional statuses which were overweight was 22,9 % and normal was
77,1 %. Immunity statuses which were beyond normal was 65,7 % and normal was 34,3%. There was
not any relationship between level of energy, protein, iron, zinc intake and nutritional status, and immunity
status of children under-five. | en_US |
