Abstract

Economic problems in the view of Islam is something that can not be separated with a problem of Faith (Aqidah) and shari’ah. Economics not only aims to meet the material needs, but more than that, namely as a means to achieve the ultimate goal (devotion to Allah Most High.). Islamic economic principles based - and interest-free has been introduced since the last decades and Islamic financial institutions (sharia) has recognized its existence in Indonesia. So it encourages Muhammadiyah and Muslims in general to play an active role in economic development based on Islamic principles and interest-free.
