English for Linguistics is an instructional material for the students of Indonesian Language Department in particular: This book is one of a series which is designed to develop Indonesian Language Department students' reading skills and improve their familiarity with how English is used for developing their Indonesian studies. For achieving the skills, therefore, it contains English texts by native English speakers. Furthermore, it is accompanied by parts of speech as supporting instructional materials in relation to the contents of the texts. Also, this textbook contains grammar and reading tasks or exercises which may be used for developing their reading skills more comprehensively.
