dc.description.abstract | Macro dan micro nutrient intake influence growth, nutritional status and immunity status. Energy
and macro nutrient intake for example protein and micro nutrient such as iron and zinc which are not
sufficient on quantity and quality will bother growth, nutritional status and immunity status. The aim of this
research was to know and analyze the correlation between level of energy, protein, iron, zinc intake and
immunity status of under five children. This research was observational study with crosssectional approach.
Data of energy, protein, iron and zinc intake were obtain from interview by recall 2 times 24 hours method not
successively. Immunity status collected from calculation of rate of limfosit by diff count method at 35
samples. Statistic test using correlation of pearson-product moment. Result of this research showed that
level of energy intake which was inappropriate to recommendation was 97,1% and appropriate to recommendation
was 2,9%. The percentage of respondents who had inappropriate protein intake was 80% and appropriate
was 20%. Iron intake which was inappropriate was 77,1% and appropriate was 22,9%. Zinc intake
which
was inappropriate was 97,1 % and appropriate was 2,9%. Furthermore, immunity status which was
inappropriate
was 65,7 % and appropriate was 34,3%. This study conclude that there were not any correlation
between level of energy,
protein, iron, zinc and immunity status of under five children. | en_US |
