HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP DENGAN PRAKTEK PENGENDALIAN NYAMUK Aedes aegypti DI KELURAHAN SANGKRAH KECAMATAN PASAR KLIWON KOTA SURAKARTA
Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between knowledge and attitude, and
Aedes aegypti mosquito control practices in Kelurahan Sangkrah. This was an observational study with
cross-sectional approach. Respondents in this study were people in RT 4 and RT 5 Sangkrah. The
research was conducted by distributing questionnaires and interviewing the people in Sangkrah. The
results of this study showed that head of the family’s knowledge of dengue fever which were low was
34.6%, moderate was 53.3%, and high was12.1%. While, head of family’s attitude of dengue fever
which were low was 15.9%, average was 63.6%, and good was 20.6%. Category of dengue fever control
which was low was 51.4%, average was 36.4%, and high was 12.1%. The results of chi-square statistical
test conclude that there was not any correlation between knowledge and attitudes, and Aedes
aegypti
mosquito control practices in Kelurahan Sangkrah.
