    Abstract
    Women experiencing operation of sectio caesaria will feel pain after operation. If the operation is not planned, it may cause disappointed feeling of mothers. Furthermore, any stress will blockade the let down reflex. The aims of the research were to investigate and measure the time of colostrums expenditure after giving birth both in mothers experiencing operation of sectio caesaria and mothers experiencing normal giving birth. There were 30 patients of normal partum and 30 patients of sectio caesaria operation. Characteristic of respondents which were investigated were education, age, gravida status, and whether they have or have not had sectio caesaria operation. The result of the research showed that there was a significant different in the time of colostrums expenditure between mothers experiencing operation of sectio caesaria and mothers experiencing normal giving birth process (p=0,002).
