Hubungan antara Peran Suami dengan Kesiapan Ibu Hamil Trimester III dalam Menghadapi Persalinan di RB. Rahayu Ungaran Kabupaten Semarang

Abstract

Pregnancy can cause crisis for family life that can be followed by stress and anxiety, not only felt by the mother but the whole family. Therefore, during pregnancy the whole family should be involved, especially the husband. The purpose of this study is to determine the corelation between husband’s role and readiness of third trimester pregnant women in facing labor at RB. Rahayu Ungaran Semarang regency. The research method used descriptive research design correlative with cross sectional approach and used purposive sampling technique performed on 40 respondents. Analysis used Kendall’sTau test with significance level of 0.05%. The results obtain that there is a relationship between the role of husband to the readiness of third trimester pregnant women in the face of labor. Suggestions for health care institutions are expected to provide midwifery services to provide Information, Education and Communication (IEC) is effective in pregnant women and her husband about the importance of the role of the husband in the face of labor.
