Hubungan antara Status Pendidikan dan Kondisi Keluarga dengan Perilaku Seks pada Anak Jalanan di Kota Surakarta
Abstract
One of the real phenomenon that has occurred in the life and impact of complex social problems
including health problems are life of street children. This study aims to determine the relationship
between education status and condition of sexual behavior in families with street children in the city of
Surakarta. This study is an observational study with cross-sectional design. Populations are street
children in Surakarta between 12-18 years old, with a total sample of 80 children who were taken with
Snow Balling sampling method. Analysis of the test data using Chy Square. The results showed that
there is a relationship between education status to sexual behavior, while the condition of the family
had no connection with the sexual behavior of street children in the city of Surakarta. Advice
primarily addressed to the department of social work along with the education department in order to
assist in providing education to street children who drop out of school in the form of informal
education and conduct ongoing monitoring and providing health education to the street children,
especially street children who already have sexual acts active.
