    Abstract
In the rice milling industry there was noise generated by machines. Noise machine is high enough, so can direct influence on labour and other people who were in workplace. Its form of communication disorders, impaired concentration, impaired hearing comfort. Hearing due to exposure to loud noise or Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NHL) was one of diseases due to labour most often found in the industry. Hearing loss of auditory function impairment due to exposure to excessive noise with intensity continuously for a long time. Based on early survey conducted earlier in the rice mill workers did not use safety equipment ear (Ear Protector) and the protective nose (mask) so susceptible to noise. The objective was aim to descriptive a relation between noise with hearing loss function in rice mill workers in Colomadu Karanganyar. This research was using descriptive correlative with cross sectional design. Taking samples were all workers in rice mills in Colomadu are, with total 42 respondents from 11 places rice mill, taken sampling used total sampling. Variable engine noise was measured from the rice milling machine. If the milling machine had ≤ 85 dB, meaning the negative, which means the machine is not noisy, but if the milling machine had > 85 dB, negative means positive, its means the engine noise. Variable hearing function was measured by audiometry, with if were value had 0-25 dB its normal ears, 26-40 dB its means deaf light, 41-60dB its means deaf medium, acute deaf 61-90db if were measured had> 90dB. Statistical analysis was using non parametric chi square test. Results showed: Intensity noise machine has a majority of more than 85 dB from 8 industries (72.3%). The majority of respondents experiencing auditory dysfunction with 17 respondents (40.5%). There was a relation between noise with hearing loss function of workers in Colomadu milling rice of Karanganyar with p = 0.032.
