The aims of this research are to know relationship between emotional intellegence and
work stress with employee’s job performance. The hypothesis of this research are, there is relationship emotional intellegence and work stress with employee’s job performance. Subject in this research is employee’s PT. BRI kebumen with technique purposive random sampling with characteristic : the minimum age marking 22 year, mount the minimum education of SLTA, minimum year of service 1 year. Measuring instrument which is used as especial instrument data collecting is emotional intellegence scale, work stress
scale, and scale of performance appraissal. Based on analysis result with two predictor
regretion technique, its value R=0,580 and Fregresi = 11,909 with p < 0,01. This result showed significant relation between emotional intellegence and work stress with employee’s job performance. It means emotional intellegence and work stress variable can be applied being predictor to predict employee’s job performance. From the partial analysis correlation rx1y = 0,527 with p<0,01. It means there is positive relation which so significant between emotional intellegence with employee’s job performance. Another result correlation rx2y= -0,391; with p<0,01, it means there is negative relation which so significant between work stress with employee’s job performance.
