Kinerja Karyawan Ditinjau dari Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between transformational leadership style with employee performance. The hypothesis advanced is that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership style with employee performance. Subjects in this study were all employees of PT AJB Bumiputera 1912 salesman Salatiga branches totaling 43 people. The sampling technique used was the study population, which is used in the study subjects drawn from the population overall. Measuring devices used in this study is the scale of transformational leadership style and employee performance documentation of data. Based on the results of product moment correlation analysis of the correlation values obtained (r) 0.463 with p <0.01 means that there is a very signifi cant positive relationship between transformational leadership style to performance. The higher the transformational leadership style, the higher the performance. Effective role

or contribution of transformational leadership style on the performance of 21.4% is indicated by the value of the determinant coeffi cient (r2) of 0.214. This means there are 78.6% for other factors that affect performance beyond transformational leadership style variables.
