HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN IBU PRIMIGRAVIDA DENGAN PERILAKU PERAWATAN PAYUDARA PADA SAAT HAMIL DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KARANGDOWO KLATEN

Abstract

Breast care is one important part that must be considered in preparation for breastfeeding after the baby is born. A good breast care to the mother needed a good knowledge in order for maintenance can be done well and properly. Based primary resarch obtained There are 4 mothers did not know the breast care during pregnancy, the mother is only the fourth since breast wash in bath and massage nipples. The kind of research is a quantitative research method is descriptive correlative study with crosssectional approach. sample are 49 Mother whose II and III trimester primigravidae who checking in Karangdowo health center. Taking sample was using total sampling technique. measurement knowledge of research on variable behavior using questionnaires so treatment was measured using a questionnaire. The data collected was then tested using Chi Square test. The results showed 26 respondents (53.1%) with good knowledge, 12 respondents (24.5%) with sufficient knowledge and 11 respondents (22.4%) with knowledge of breast care still poor. 23 respondents (46, 9%) with good behavior, while 26 respondents (53.1%) had less behavioral in breast care  2 = 12.863 with p-value = 0.002. obtained P-value = 0.002 means that there is relationship between mother knowledge level with breast care behavior mother of primigravida during pregnancy in region work Puskesmas Karangdowo
