    Abstract
In the future, the price of materials to make concrete especially more expensive steel reinforcement. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the manufacture of concrete plates using bamboo reinforcement. Reinforced concrete slab is a flat surface, usually with parallel top and bottom surfaces. To saving the use of reinforcement, it is necessary to create plates with the addition of high-middle spans. This study aims to determine the concrete compressive strength, tensile strength of bamboo, and the effect of adding high at midspan of the plate flexural strength of concrete with bamboo reinforcement. Concrete floor plate with normal cross-section sized 50x10x120 cm as much as 3 test specimens and plates with the addition of high 5 cm section at midspan as much as 3 test specimens. Concrete mix design by the method of SK.SNI.T-15-1990-03, with water-cement ratio of 0.5. Tests conducted when test specimens aged at least 30 days. Bamboo tensile strength test results obtained average value of 148 MPa. Compressive strength test results of concrete cylinders obtained an average value of 21.31 MPa. Plate bending strength test results showed that the average percentage of flexural strength on condition of concrete crack initiation load increased to 65.98% and the maximum compressive load conditions increased to 27.65% after the bamboo reinforced concrete slab height is given at midspan. The percentage cost benefit of material per sample with the addition of high plate at midspan by 22.87% compared with plate normal cross section. These results indicate that in terms of economical concrete floor slabs reinforced with the addition of high bamboo at midspan more profitable.
