Al-Quran and al-Hadith are the sources of Islamic law. However, the Hadith that form of words (qauliyah), action (fi’liyah) and provisions (taqririyah) of the Holy Prophet, is still requires a more in-depth search remembering much history, and sanad which has different levels and quality. The scholars of hadith experts have divided into 3 kinds of qualified hadiths, they are saheeh, hasan and da’eef. Retrieval system of Islamic rules by Muhammadiyah Legal Affairs Board uses ijtihad collective so that the decisions resulted in Muhammadiyah Legal Affairs Board that has been in tanfidz by the central leadership of Muhammadiyah becomes an official fatwa by Muhammadiyah as guidelines of Islamic teachings for its members.
