Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement, known as RAP material, is a road pavement waste. This material contains of aged bitumen and graded aggregate which can be employed as a better road material quality. The need to use RAP material is due to environment issues to enhance human life quality and save earth. This paper reports the results of investigation of RAP material properties in order to studi the potential use of RAP as a friendly road pavement material. RAP material was delivered to laboratory and then its physical and mechanical properties was investigated. In this study the RAP material was mixed in cold and warm condition in order to assess its quality if used as a road material. The results showed that the RAP material may not be used as a base course material. Their California Bearing Ratio (CBR) values also presented that this material is better used as a sub-base course material. When the RAP material was mixed with new aggregate, it was found that their CBR values did not increase due to the lack of new aggregate properties. It was also found that their CBR decreased when the RAP material was mixed in warm temperatures. It may be the aged bitumen was too hard and then it can not bind the aggregate particles. In this paper, the deformation characteristics was also studied by utilizing the CBR curvesen_US
