    Abstract
The world population growth has reached 7 billion needs the natural resources to support its activities. This increase causes the vulnerability of natural resources, thus encouraging using the renewable resources. Water is a renewable natural resource and can be used as an alternative to face the energy crisis. The hydropower plant has been developed, including Micro Hydro Power Plant. Energy water is used to turn a turbine which is then connected to generators. An idea sparked, spin turbines are not only used to turn a generator, but it is also used to turn the water pump in order to obtain the additional benefits besides generating electricity, it can also be used to raise water from one place to a higher place. Several pilot project have been conducted in several places. This system has the double benefit that hydro power plants and water pumps, also produce higher efficiency because the potential energy is converted directly into mechanical energy to turn the water pump
