    Abstract
Airport located in the city centre district is one of the areas prone to urban noise. The houses built without a silencer element to get the sound emission is quite large. AHMAd Yani Airport in Semarang city changed its status from National Airport to In-ternational Airport. As a result, housing in surrounding the airport is increasingly disturbed by the noise, because the flight intensity increases. Based on the flight schedule issued by PT. Angkasa Pura, noted there are approximately 68 scheduled flights each day. This study is a modeling that measures the value of noise reduction on building model created in the field with the value specified Sound Transmission Loss. Analysis showed using Paired Sample Test Two-and Completed randomized design (CRD) of the software SPSS (Statistical Product for Service Solution) version 15. With that method also showed that the result that the rotation of building a simple model is able to reduce the noise level is very significant.
