dc.description.abstractLearning undertaken by teachers in SD/MI Muhammadiyah Karanganyar still centered on the teachers that students often find saturation in the learning process. In addition, teachers taught without the use of props instructive (APE) because it does not have the minimal knowledge and creativity of teachers. The problem is fundamental to the implementation of this PAKOM. The purpose is community service teachers can understand, select, and use learning techniques/guidance with educational props (APE) as appropriate so as to develop the potential of students to be critical, creative, innovative, able to solve problems through the eyes of the relevant subjects. Methods of implementation and results of such devotion: a) counseling in the form of materials on thematic approaches and educational props (APE) thematic primary school which was attended by 16 teachers SD/MI Muhammadiyah Karanganya; b) The next activity is the discussion of thematic approaches and practices, as well as making training educational thematic props; c) monitoring activities carried out by evaluating the activities that have been carried out by the teachers Partners by providing advice on the benefits and advantages of thematic and thematic use of APE for learning. Based on the results and discussion obtained show conclusively that the training of thematic learning and making educational aids for primary school teachers in Karanganyar Muhammadiyah has been successful and necessary development and follow-up training.en_US
