dc.description.abstractThe class action research is part of applied research by teachers. The service aims to motivate and increase an applied research to teachers’ education for Indonesian Literature and Language Course (MBSI) of Muhammadiyah Senior High School in the regency of Kendal. It was conducted in the form of education and training for the regency. There were 20 students who participated in it. Based on the questionnaires distributed to the teachers, it was found that there was a problem with the MBSI learning in which 55% of the teachers always made a lesson plan, 25% made an early activity with a-perception and ice breaking. The teachers who made a closing activity with the reflection of learning reached 25%. 30% used a varied learning source. It could be used as some consideration for carrying out a class action research to find solution solution or describing a problem background. The result of the service was developing the teachers’ capacity to make the title of Class Action Research, formulate problem background and problem statement (35:80), describe literature review, and make a proposal of Class Action Research (30:70). Many participants asked some questions in the workshop. It indicates that the teachers’ enthusiasm was increasingly high.en_US
