dc.description.abstract | To maintain road’s service during its service life as well as intended is needed a series of treatments such as maintenance and rehabilitation. Efficiency and effectiveness of road treatment is important to evaluate as one way to recognize whether management is optimal or not optimal. This study aims to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of non-toll national road (NR-nt) treatment in 2011 and 2012. The efficiency was measured through improvement of the road condition between after and before treatment, and the effectiveness was evaluated through suitableness of the treatment com-pared to the outcome that is obtained. The results showed that in 2011 the road condition after treat-ment was more poorly compared to before treatment carried out. Therefore, in 2011, the efficiency and effectiveness of the road treatment could not be evaluated due to the efficiency and effectiveness out of the norm designed. Meanwhile, in 2012, the outcome of the NR-nt treatment was classified to be very not efficient with the efficiency is at 10.20% (the scale 0-19.99% is very not efficient, and 80-100% is very efficient), and not effective with the effectiveness is at 35.21% (the scale 0-19.99% is very not effective, and 80-100% is very effective). The result indicated that the management of NR-nt was less optimal. Therefore, to optimize the NR-nt management is suggested a road evalua-tion system which is more objective and accountable, so that, regarding to the outcome of the road treatment is wished there is the part to be responsible in accordance with law and regulation. | en_US |
